FANS have begun to speculate what the future holds for one character on Death in Paradise.
The acclaimed BBC One drama returned over the festive period with a feature-length episode.
All the regular crew were back together but some fans have been left speculating that for Ralf Little's character Neville it might not be for long.
They have become worried that with the proposition of a new love interest, show bosses could be paving the way for him to make his exit from the programme.
Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: "Hmm, new person on holiday? Could we be seeing the beginning of the end of Neville's time on Saint Marie?"
Another added of the potential love story for Neville: "Is love in the air for Neville?? ❤️Boxing Day done and dusted. A Christmas tradition!"

He played the role of Danny Sheridan in the 2022 festive special after joining the long-running BBC drama programme in a guest capacity.
Les' character Danny assisted the team on the island of Saint Marie in an effort to help solve the case.
But fans of the feature-length special, which aired on Boxing Day, were left stunned at his incredible new look.
The actor can usually be seen with grey hair but he had dyed it a much darker colour for the role.
