EastEnders Sharons hottest moments – sordid affairs to brother romance

EastEnders' Sharon has had some of the most dramatic and steamy scenes in Albert Square over the years.

Sharon Watts, played by actress Letitia Dean, has been known for some saucy romances over the years including brothers Grant and Phil Mitchell, her adoptive half-brother Dennis Rickman and young mechanic Keanu Taylor.

It isn't just steamy love affairs that viewers have seen Sharon get involved with, she's also had bust ups, rows and clashes with her fellow Albert Square residents over the years too.

We've rounded up some of her hottest moments from kisses, affairs to cat fights and screaming rows…

Sharon's love triangle with Grant and Phil Mitchell

One of the earliest scandals that Sharon found herself in was being caught between the Mitchell brothers in what was commonly known as "Sharongate".

Married to Grant Mitchell (Ross Kemp), Sharon had fallen for brother-in-law Phil (Steve McFadden) and had a steamy affair before the truth all came out.

Viewers watched as the love triangle reached a tense climax on October 24, 1994, attracting 25.3million viewers.

Sharon had confessed her affair to friend Michelle Fowler, who had inadvertently recorded it on tape which then fell into the hands of husband Grant.

Furious with his wife's indiscretion, he played the tape in the middle of The Queen Vic embarrassing both Sharon and Phil.

The anger didn't stop there though, Grant went on to attack his brother with Phil nearly killed in the attack.

Falling in love with Dennis Rickman

Sharon's steamy romances have always been entertaining TV for viewers, and her hook up with adoptive brother Dennis Rickman (Nigel Harman) was no exception.

The couple began seeing each other before the truth came out that Dennis was in fact the biological son of "Dirty Den" Watts (Leslie Grantham).

Whilst Sharon was adopted by Den and wife Angie, it meant the romance wasn't technically incestuous but was seen by many in Albert Square as pretty close.

Sharon's steamy affair with mechanic Keanu

One of arguably the hottest and sauciest moments for actress Letitia Dean to handle as Sharon was her affair with young mechanic Keanu Taylor.

In 2018 viewers watched as Sharon, now married to Phil Mitchell, fell for Keanu and the couple struggled to deny their chemistry.

Hiding behind Phil's back, the couple embarked on a love affair which grew more and more complicated.

Now dating Phil's daughter Louise, Keanu discovered he had got his girlfriend pregnant which became even more ill-timed as Sharon discovered she was pregnant too – and the baby was most likely Keanu's.

The drama came to a huge climax when viewers watched on the Christmas Day 2019 special as Louise revealed the truth about Keanu and Sharon's romance.

Phil kicked pregnant Sharon out onto the streets, and Keanu was banished from the square and faked his own death.

Yet the mechanic returned to try and win back Sharon's affections, which drove Phil into a violent anger on board a party boat in the Thames which claimed the life of Sharon's son Dennis Watts.

Distraught with grief, Sharon ordered Keanu to leave, yet the mechanic has returned in recent episodes and their romance appears to be rekindling…

Trying to sabotage Phil and Kat's wedding

In another storyline, romance played a huge role but this time Sharon is the one left out in the cold.

The blonde watches as ex-husband Phil proposes and prepares to marry Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace), and it's all too much for Sharon to bear.

Last year, viewers watched as Sharon confessed her love for ex Phil, only for him to reject her and still want to marry Kat instead as he tells her he needs a "fresh start".

However, Kat isn't about to let Sharon get away with trying to ruin her wedding plans and a cat fight between the two love rivals ensues.

Cat fights on the Square

Fights in the square happen regularly and Sharon Watts has seen her fair share of these too.

One of the most recent includes a scrap with Sam Mitchell (Kim Medcalf) and Kat Slater, as the three fought it out in scenes last October.

The drama unfolded as deviant Sam confessed to Kat that she was behind the shooting at Peggy's Bar, and had also terrified Kat's son with a pointed threat by handing him a bullet.

Kat and Sam had a furious row as Kat slapped Sam across the face, as onlookers watched.

Shouting from the sidelines, Sharon couldn't help but get involved against her old nemesis Sam. Swinging her handbag, she hit out at her former sister-in-law, before the fight was broken up by Zack Hudson.

Viewers praised the scenes as "the good old days" for the drama between the three, with some even calling the scenes "iconic".
