EastEnders star looks nothing like character in throwback snap with A-lister

One EastEnders cast member has shared a throwback snap from when she was on set with a Hollywood A-lister, and she looks completely different. Lorraine Stanley, who plays Karen Taylor in the BBC soap, is in the picture alongside legendary actor Tom Hardy.

The 47 year old looks nothing like she does now as she shared the picture from when she stared alongside Tom in the 2015 movie Legend. The film is about the Kray twins' murderous crimes, and Lorraine played a barmaid throughout the film.

On Saturday, Lorraine looked back on her time with Tom, 45, as she shared a photo of them on set. Sharing it to her Instagram story, she wrote alongside it: "Not a bad weeks filming on Legend."

Lorraine joined the cast of EastEnders back in 2017, and she has quickly become one of the most iconic characters. However, before that Lorraine had a good career in film as she starred in many movies such as Made in Dagenham.

In EastEnders, Karen is known for her casual look, with her long hair normally up in a bun. With that in mind, Lorraine is always shocking fans with how glam and different she looks when she isn't playing Karen.

When she isn't playing Karen, Lorraine is often spotted with her long hair down and with a full face of makeup.

In a previous interview with ITV's Lorraine, the actress revealed that she lost nearly a stone in six weeks. That happened because she cut out crisps, carbs and chocolate with her new diet.

She said: "I've lost 12 lbs in six weeks, thank you. My mate Louisa is my fitness guru, I've got her to thank for it. She talks about nutrition.

"I've eaten a lot of boiled eggs, fish, chicken, no carbs. No crisps and chocolate."

She also added: "I'm enjoying it, and I feel better for it."

Later in the interview on the morning show Lorraine, also revealed that she has moved out of London and she is now in a bigger house in Hertfordshire. Lorraine also said that the move has provided a better life for her daughter Nancy.

She said: "I have moved. I now live in Hertfordshire. It has a lot of things. I have a little girl, Nancy. She'll have fresher air, better schools, and less crime in general.

"It was a big move and I feel great, it is lovely there."
