EastEnders villain makes dramatic return Walford 18 years after leaving soap

EastEnders: Peter Beale returns

Graham Foster (played by Alex McSweeney) is on his way back to EastEnders following a prison sentence for raping Little Mo Slater (Kacey Ainsworth).

His return comes a year after his son Freddie Slater (Bobbie Brazier) joined the BBC soap last year. Freddie’s mother is Little Mo.

Freddie was born after Little Mo refused to terminate her pregnancy.

Graham was last seen on the soap back in 2005 when Mo’s then-husband Billy Mitchell [Perry Fenwick] paid him a visit in prison.

According to The Mirror, the character will be returning to the long-running serial drama soon.

“I’m grateful to be asked to reprise the role of Graham as I thought it was important for Freddie to be given some answers about his dad,” the actor shared.

“I thoroughly enjoyed working with the talented Bobby Brazier.”

Since the actor left EastEnders, he’s appeared on various shows including Primeval, Holby City and Doctors.

It is unclear how long his stint on EastEnders this time around will last for the actor.

How will Freddie and the rest of Walford feel about Graham’s return after all these years?

The Slaters will surely be horrified to see him as a free man after the crimes he committed on Little Mo.

The announcement comes weeks after The Sun revealed Michelle Collins is set to return to the soap as Cindy Beale.

She set to return to Walford later this summer after rekindling her relationship with Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) despite trying to get a hitman to kill him back in 1998.

Ian’s mum will not be pleased to see Cathy returning to Albert Square as she’s protective of her son.

According to the publication, their son Peter Beale (Thomas Law) will also return alongside his reunited parents.

EastEnders airs Mondays to Thursdays on BBC One at 7.30pm.
