Emmerdale fans spot huge gaffe as Wendy Posner's affair is exposed | The Sun
EMMERDALE fans were all left saying the same things as Wendy Posner's affair with Dr Liam was finally exposed in all its glory to Bob.
The 'nurse' has been having it off with the doctor behind her partner Bob's back for weeks on the ITV soap opera.
It all came after Bernice exposed that she had seen the lovers kissing and it did not take Bob long to discover that she was telling the truth.
As the pair snuck off for a night of passion in Newcastle, Wendy lied and said they were attending a 'sepsis awareness course' at a fancy hotel.
Bob phoned the hotel and was quick to realise that there was no such course and that his partner was purely there to hook up with Liam.
He eventually confessed all to Wendy that he knew forcing her to come clean as she was left overcome with emotion.
However, as Wendy began to cry, many fans immediately noticed that something appeared to be amiss.
Wendy, played by actress Susan Cookson, had forgotten to cry any actual tears during the highly-charged episode.
It led people to brand her 'fake' and also question why there hadn't been any tears in the first place if Wendy was genuinely upset.
One fan said of the scenes online: "Anybody see any tears?"

Another added: "Wendy never has any tears."
A third commented: "Wendy and her crocodile tears."
As a fourth penned: "Fake nurse Wendy fake crying."
Before a fifth said: "Enough of the fake tears, fake nurse Wendy, if you please."
In the scenes, admitting to almost cheating on her himself, Bob said he had stopped himself because of what Wendy meant to him, and that he thought their relationship was different to any that he had had previously.
He said emotionally: "You are the person I want to wake up beside for the rest of my life. Why would I put that in jeopardy with some fumble with Bernice?
"So what happens now? Is it telling us something? Are we stale? Are we done?"
A sobbing Wendy replied: "No, I love you as much as I always have. You're my soul mate too."
She begged for another chance but he said: "Love shouldn't need work, we're not some old married couple staying together for the kids.
"We can cut loose now. I just know that this is too painful, I need some time by myself to make a decision…see if we have a future."
