Emmerdale Jai’s huge secret exposed as star says things ‘will never be the same’
Emmerdale's Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) has revealed that things will "never be the same" after a huge bombshell rocks the family.
In upcoming scenes, Jai makes a mistake whilst booking a holiday on a website it gives Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) an idea.
He books the honeymoon suite instead of an apartment for the whole family and before long, Laurel gets down on one knee and asks Jai to marry her.

With her proposal delightfully accepted they soon happily discuss the correct order to tell people their news.
However, Jai realises he needs to retrieve his divorce certificate so heads to find his legal documents.
Searching he dislodges the contents of an old box and discovers an official document among the miscellanea. and a closer look reveals something is not right.
Opening up about his gripping new storyline, Chris Bisson told Daily Star and other press: "In that box is a very long-standing secret that is life-changing for Jai.
"He had no indication, no idea, that anything like this could possible happen to him.
"At first, he's just taken aback by it and doesn't know how to compute it and then he gets more angry."
"He's totally confused and doesn't know what to make of it and needs to try and figure it out what it means.
"This could really tip him over the edge
The following day, Jai is still deeply upset regarding his discovery and loses his temper at work.
As an ex-addict, Laurel is worried how Jai may react and implores him to talk to his parents..
When rambling Rishi arrives, he is oblivious to Jai’s rising ire.
Finally exploding with anger, Jai reveals he knows the secret leaving Rishi aghast.
Jai's incredulous at his dad’s weak explanations as Rishi covers, clearly lying through his teeth and utterly fails to tell Jai the truth .
Things taken another sour turn for Jai when he discovers Manpreet Sharma has known the secret since their marriage, leaving him furious and forces his father away.
With an engagement party planned, Jai still can’t escape his turmoil and oblivious Archie heads out on a secret mission to find his absent grandfather.
Will Rishi’s arrival help or make things worse?
Chris continued: "Jai wants to tackle Rishi about the secret but he can't control himself and he also hits the roof when he learns that Manpreet also knows.
"Rishi continues to hide further information and it's driving Jai around the twist.
"I'm not sure things will ever be the same between Jai and Rishi."
