Emmerdale youngster Kyle Winchester (played by Huey Quinn) will break down after eavesdropping on a conversation about his mental health. The young son of Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) is beginning to struggle with his dad taking the rap for murdering Al Chapman (Michael Wildman). Cain’s time in prison is proving too much for Kyle who badly misses his imprisoned father on the ITV soap.
A month after Cain decided to do the time for the crime his son committed, cracks are starting to appear in his son’s wellbeing.
Official spoilers for the long-running drama show Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano) lose his patience with his mother.
He tries to convince Moira Barton (Natalie J. Robb) to tell the truth about Al’s death to the police, but she so far resists.
The concerned son of Moira also begs Amy Wyatt (Natalie Ann Jamieson) to hand her son in for the crime Cain is about to serve time for.

Kyle will struggle with school and insist he can no longer attend as he misses his dad too much.
After their discussion with Matty, Amy and Moira’s worry for him increases.
Kyle’s mum tries to reason with him as they attempt to address any more problematic scenarios he may face.
The family agrees the youngster can see his father in prison if he continues to go to school.
Despite their agreement, Moira continues to fear their family secret escaping their bubble and reaching the rest of the village.
Since Cain agreed to admit to the murder, Moira has wished to keep their united front strong.
But, the vulnerable schoolboy is understandably going through a rough time and the truth may have to come out to save him.
Later on, Cain is reunited with his son, while Amy and Moira voice their concerns over the meeting.
Kyle is over the moon to see his dad, despite the less-than-glamorous setting of prison.
Before the family visit the locked-up Cain, conversations continue about the wellbeing of the young boy.
Matty beats the drum that the family should be facing up to the truth and admitting to law enforcement what has happened.
He also discusses the need for Kyle to receive some professional help for what he’s experienced.
Moira finally concedes her son may be correct in his beliefs and Amy agrees that Kyle needs psychological help.
To add to their predicament, Kyle overhears all of their conversation and is devastated with guilt.
When he sees his father in prison, Kyle breaks down in tears, as his dad fears he will eventually spill the beans.
Will Kyle sacrifice his own future to save his dad’s?
