Emmerdale's Mark Jordon lashes out at 'fake b*******' over false account

Emmerdale star Mark Jordan has warned followers about an account on Instagram, claiming to be his manager.

The Daz Spencer actor – who is also in a relationship with Emmerdale star Laura Norton – took to the social media platform to expose the account and also shared a screenshot of the type of messages being sent to people.

‘This very strange person is pretending to be my business manager’, he wrote.

‘She is not, I don’t have one, but it bothers me she’s going to befriend folk under my name. Dangerous and fake. Please do not engage, please report.’

And in the second post, which detailed the sort of message the account is sending to victims, Mark said: ‘This is what she’s sending, please please do not fall for her fake bull****. Thank you.’

Fortunately, it is now believed the account has been removed after Mark urged his followers to report and block them.

Back in March 2023, Mark and partner Laura (who plays Kerry Wyatt in Emmerdale) spoke about their new-born son’s Usher syndrome diagnosis.

Both of the couple’s children – son Jesse, two, and daughter Ronnie, who was born in October 2022, have the rare genetic condition that affects both hearing and vision.

Laura and Mark went public with the news in February, with Laura sharing that they first thought something was different in 2021 when Jesse failed hearing tests.

‘My intuition told me there was a serious problem and I was in tears at the thought of it,’ Laura revealed on an episode of Loose Women.

However, they didn’t know it was Usher syndrome specifically until Laura was pregnant with their second child.

Usher syndrome causes deafness or hearing loss, and an eye disease called retinitis pigmentosa (RP). Sometimes, it also causes problems with balance.

People with Usher syndrome tend to get diagnosed as children or teenagers and while there is no cure for it, there are treatments to help manage vision, hearing and balance problems.
