FIRST Dates star Fred Sirieix has revealed he’s undergone major surgery.
The TV star posted a video from his hospital bed after waking up from a very serious operation.
Fred, 50, told his 827k followers on Instagram: "Right… double knee operation was a success. I'm still coming around from the anaesthesia but all good!
"I'm about to have my Earl Grey tea."
The Channel 4 favourite, who is best known for being the maître d'hôtel on First Dates, then shared a snap of his two knees covered in bandages.
Just last month Fred was seen posing for a snap with presenter Emma Willis as they filmed a new TV show in Playa Del Carmen in Mexico.

The pair were filming a cooking competition show called World Cook for Amazon Prime, which will air on December 18th.
Weeks before Fred wowed his fans by showing off his impressive body transformation in a topless snap.
The father-of-one said he had been pushing himself "physically" in the gym, resulting in his incredible arm muscles and abdominals.
"It’s good to push yourself physically and feel your heart beat," he penned under the snap. "Time for breakfast now."

He is in a relationship with his fiancée Fruitcake.
Fred's daughter Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix is a professional diver who has appeared in the Common Wealth Games.
He also shares another child from a previous relationship.
