How Amanda Holden is preparing daughter Lexi, 16, for huge fame as her modelling career takes off | The Sun

SHE has spent three decades in the spotlight thanks to a massively successful TV career – and now Amanda Holden is ready to pass on her wisdom to her teenage daughter.

The 51-year-old is preparing Lexi, 16, for huge fame after she signed a top modelling contract.

The teen is set to make a £1million in the first year after being snapped up by Storm, which helped make legendary British fashion model Kate Moss a star.

And to help make it a smooth transition into celebrity life, Amanda has been easing Lexi into it by bringing her to popular events.

The mum-of-two has been there, by Lexi's side, to support her as she gets used to being photographed by the paparazzi and meeting new people.

Yesterday, glamorous Amanda brought Lexi as her plus one to Wimbledon.

The lookalike mum and daughter were guests in evian's VIP suite alongside a whole host of famous faces, including Rochelle Humes, Pete Wicks and Joe Dommett.

Dressed in a neon green oversized matching suit, Lexi stole the show.

She teamed the trendy outfit with a crop top, white boots and coloured sunglasses.

It's a new look for Lexi who has been overhauling her image as she moves with her career.

Amanda shared a snap of the teen on Instagram, saying: "My baby, all grown up."

A source told The Sun: "Seeing Amanda side by side with her daughter Lexi at Wimbledon yesterday was a clear sign she's being a supportive mum who wants to lend a hand to help her future stardom.

"Lexi is starting to stand out with her fashion choices, showing she wants to be noticed and stand out from the crowd. She's got a hugely famous mum so it would be easy for her to be overlooked, but Amanda made sure she was included and introduced to the big names in the room.

"The future looks bright for Lexi – and Amanda looks every inch the proud mum."

Bosses of modelling agency Storm are understood to have made a beeline for Lexi after seeing her out and about with Amanda and on the Britain's Got Talent judge's socials.

Keen to keep an eye on her career, Amanda, 51, plans on introducing her daughter into the industry slowly over the next 24 months and hit the ground running when she turns 18.
