Love Island fans convinced Mitchel Taylor is secret ‘twin’ of former Islander

Love Islandfans are convinced Mitchel Taylor is the “spitting image” of a former singleton from a past series.

As the 10th series of theITVdating show got underway, viewers couldn’t help but compare the TV hunk to fishmonger Luca Bish who coupled up with Gemma Owen last year.

Joining the Love Island villa alongside five other guys, Mitchel from Sheffield was looking for love from and it’s fair to say it didn’t take him long to find it in his current partner Molly Marsh.

Viewers immediately spotted the similarities while tuning in at home and flooded to Twitter to share their thoughts on the hunky gas engineer online.

One user tweeted: “Luca Bish is Mitchel’s long-lost twin #LoveIsland” as another agreed: “Omg I thought I was the only one! They’ve got the same smiles and weirdly enough I think they could resemble brothers.”

A third asked: “Can someone make sure Mitchel isn’t Luca in disguise? #LoveIsland” as another echoed: “Is Mitchel a Luca Bish lookalike?”

However, others thought the 26-year-old bore a stronger resemblance to 2019 Love Island winner Jack Fincham.

One argued: “Anyone else think Mitchel looks like Jack Fincham? #loveisland” as another couldn’t choose between the pair, adding: “If Jack Fincham and Luca Bish had a baby, it would be Mitchel [cry-laughing emoji] #LoveIsland.”

A third agreed: “Man this looks like Luca and Jack Fincham if they had a kid.”

The first episode of the new series saw Maya Jama drop the shocking twist that Love Islanders wouldn’t get to choose who they couple with, but instead have their romantic futures determined by the public.

Viewers had already cast their votes and chose who they wanted to see partnered, which saw Mitchel couple up with blonde beauty Molly Marsh.

While some couples may already be starting to crack, it appears as though Mitchel and Molly have hit it off.

Michel has already spoken about his feelings for the influencer, confessing that he didn’t think his head could turn from the actress throughout the show.

But Love Island wouldn’t be the same without a few dramas and fans got their first taste of drama on the horizon when the first bombshell Zacharia Noble entered the villa.

Love Island airs all week at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
