As Love Island viewers have been watching the never-ending drama unfold between the islanders, fans have now accused ladies man Tyrique of “plotting downfalls” of his fellow islanders following the latest challenge.

Thursday night's episode of the show saw a number of islanders vote Whitney and Lochan as the show's smuggest couple, including Ella and Tyrique where Tyrique also went into detail about why he thinks Whitney is smug.

Tyrique, who has had his fair share of drama, said: “Whitney is kinda smug because she always thinks that she is with the typical nice guy so she's winning, but nice guys can also hurt you so be careful.”

This wasn’t the first time that Tyrique had made comments to the couple as he suggested they had made the “wrong decision” when they chose to save Mitchel and Ella, subsequently sending home Kady and Ouzy.

Fans swiftly took to Twitter where one said they are “convinced” that he is “plotting on other people’s downfalls”. They penned: “I’m convinced Ty is plotting on other people’s downfalls; he’s just bad vibes.”

Another fan added: "Ty does this kind of thing so much. He will make an out of pocket comment then be like YEAH AND WHAT IM HONEST THOUGH!! Like not every thought has to come out of your mouth always”, while another said: "He targets people he sees as threats and it’s very obvious to see!"

Reacting to Ty’s comment in the challenge, another fan added: "Ty's Comment To Whitney During The Challenge Was Weird."

The comments in the challenge were also followed by a huge falling out between Whitney and Ella Thomas, where Whitney called her former pal the “most selfish person” that she has ever met “in my life”.

Ella and Whitney's row came largely out of the blue as they were getting ready for the evening following the day's challenge.

After Ella got into the shower, Whitney then walked into the bathroom and complained: “Ella, are you being serious? I’ve been waiting.”

And later as the girls were putting on make-up Whitney voiced some complaints over being voted 'most smug' to which Ella asked why she was 'so salty' about the challenge and said that she could tell that Whitney is the youngest in her family.

To which Whitney responded: “Ella, I have never met a selfish person like you" to which Ella says: “That is the biggest lie I’ve ever heard.”

At the end of Friday night’s episode, the two seemed to squash their issues, but only time will tell if they can move on from it.
