Love Island's Jacques breaks social media silence after Paige moved on saying 'I'd be in a darker place without you' | The Sun

LOVE Island's Jacques O'Neill broke his social media silence after Paige Thorne moved on saying 'I'd be in a darker place without you'.

The 23-year-old quit the villa earlier this month, but not before telling partner Paige that he wanted to make her his girlfriend when she came out of the villa.

However, Paige has since coupled up with Adam Collard and the Geordie bombshell asked her to be exclusive earlier this week.

Taking to Twitter on Saturday, Jacques updated fans on how he was getting on now he was back home.

Sharing a picture of himself looking tanned and relaxed after an evening out, he wrote: "I just want you all to know that I’m in such a better place mentally.

"A huge reason for that is because of all the love and support I have received!

The Sun previously revealed Jacques was approached by Celebs Go Dating bosses after leaving the Love Island villa.

But the lad is said to have turned down their £60,000 offer – because he wants to wait for villa lover Paige.

A source said that execs at the E4 dating show think their experts Anna Williamson and Paul Brunson could prove really valuable guides for the troubled rugby lad.

The source said: “It’s very early days and bookers for Celebs Go Dating have only really just got started.

“But an Islander always makes for a great signing and Jacques is a real stand-out, particularly because he’s already shown that he’s willing to put the work in and really change.

"But Jacques wants to wait for Paige so it may well be too late by the time she emerges.”

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
