Love Islands Tash Ghouris dad hits out at claims shes not being real

Tasha Ghouri's dad has hit back at the boys in the Love Island villa, after claims on Friday's recoupling episode (June 24) that the star was 'not being real'.

The model and dancer enjoyed a date with new Love Island bombshell Charlie Radnedge last week, with many fans sensing the chemistry between the two islanders.

However, after Charlie decided to couple up with Ekin-Su, Tasha was left coupled with current partner Andrew Le Page – prompting comments from the boys including Dami Hope, who claimed she was "contradicting" her feelings for Andrew, and "isn’t being real."

Following the claims, Tasha's father Tarek has hit back, telling The Mirror that his daughter is "genuine" in the villa.

He said: "Tasha is a very genuine, natural, compassionate person and I’ve seen many examples of when she’s been there to support other contestants.

"Generally, it’s great to see her enjoying the villa and making new friendships – that makes me smile."

Talking about his daughter in her younger years, he also added: "She had a great support around her from school.

"She was as she is now – caring, compassionate and a bit of a ring leader."

Friday's dramatic recoupling episode also saw Tasha slam her fellow islanders for their comments and 'rude' reactions, saying to Andrew: "Everyone's shaking their heads, so rude!"

Her comments came after the boys also claimed that her head had been turned by the arrival of new villa bombshells, following her date with Charlie Radnedge.

Following her date with Charlie, current partner Andrew had also asked how it went, with Tasha saying: "I went in with a completely open mind to see what happens. It was a good date. He's a good-looking guy."

Andrew replied: "I'm not surprised he picked you.

"You're a very good-looking girl. You're obviously super nice and amazing."

However, following Friday's recoupling episode, viewers will have to wait and see what is in store for the islanders this week – and whether another recoupling could be on the cards – as the popular ITV2 dating programme continues.

Love Island airs weekdays at 9pm on ITV2.
