Mary gets shocking news about con artist Faye in latest Emmerdale spoilers

Emmerdale's Mary Goskirk is left shocked as she is given news about con artist Faye Helders, the latest spoilers have revealed.

Mary was dating Faye when she conned her out of thousands of pounds, claiming it was for a charity abroad.

The storyline hit its climax when Mary rumbled Faye, but in a panic, Faye pushed Mary over and left her unconscious while she ran away with the money. Now several weeks on, the police have arrested Faye, and they head to tell Mary the news.

However, Mary is left shocked when they also tell her that Faye has denied all of the charges against her.

The drama doesn't end there for a troubled Mary as further spoilers have revealed that later this month, she will come face-to-face with Faye.

Next week Mary will receive a shock text from an unknown number asking to meet up. Mary agrees, and she is shocked when they meet to find it is Faye.

Faye is looking all dishevelled, and Mary soon finds out that Faye has been sleeping in her car leaving her even more shocked. Mary is then thrown when Faye declares that she loves her and she wants them to have a fresh start.

Staying strong Mary doesn't believe all of the lies that Faye is saying, and it doesn't take long before the conversation takes a sinister turn. Faye attempts to blackmail Mary using a non-consensual nude photo.

She tells Mary that she either changes her witness statement, or she will send the photo to all of her contacts.

The next day Faye turns up again to remind Mary that the clock is ticking for her to make a decision on the situation. Things take another turn when Mary's daughter Rhona Goskirk returns home to find Faye there with Mary.

Faye remains smug when Rhona arrives as she tells Mary that they can meet the next day to confirm that she has withdrawn her statement. Rhona is left in disbelief by what she is hearing, but Mary is just desperate to stop the photo from being sent to anyone.

As Mary becomes increasingly distraught at what is happening, Rhona promises that she will fix what is happening. However, she is defeated by Faye's blackmail, and that leaves her devastated to see her mum so vulnerable.

When it is time for Mary to head to the station and withdraw her statement she freezes and ends up torn over what she wants to do.
