Sarah exposes con man Stephen as she makes a big discovery in Corrie?

Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) returned to Coronation Street as a bit of a hero, and it annoyed the Platt family hugely.

After Audrey’s (Sue Nicholls) fall, topic of conversation turned to money and her will.

She made the decision to put all of her money in a trust fund managed by Stephen, an idea David (Jack P Shepherd) thought was terrible.

Coming up, Stephen’s annoyed when his card gets declined in the café.

At No.8, Stephen pays the deposit for Audrey’s afternoon tea and uses a card in the name of Mrs Gabrielle Reid.

Next week, Stephen’s suspicious behaviour continues as he suggests that now would be a good time for Audrey to sign the trust fund paperwork, but she insists there isn’t any rush.

In the factory, Michael (Ryan Russell) points out that the Underworld website could do with an update, so Sarah puts forward the idea of giving Stephen’s web designer a call.

Stephen jumps in and offers to do the work himself with Max’s (Paddy Bever) help.

Later on, Sarah reveals she called Lorenzo after all and discovered he’s owed 6 months’ worth of wages.

Stephen covers, lying to Sarah and making out that he withheld Lorenzo’s wages as he caught him embezzling money from the company.
