The Chase player makes history as he bags highest single win ever on ITV show
The Chase viewers witnessed something truly remarkable after a single contestant made TV history after he took home an incredible £80,000 solo win.
During Wednesday’s visit to the ITV studios, TV host Bradley Walsh welcomed four new quizzers onto the show looking to put their general knowledge to the test.
As fans tuned in for the primetime show, the former Coronation Street star introduced contestants Toby, Annabelle, Dan and Sarah onto the show before they battled it out to take home the all-important cash prize.
This week the quartet were up against Jenny ‘The Vixen’ Ryan who made sure to bring her A-game after she swiftly removed three of the four players in just half an hour.
But Sheffield native Dan wasn’t fazed by the professional quizzer despite being the final contestant to take her on in the head-to-head round after he brought an impressing £5,000 to the table.
On a whim, the player risked it all when he decided to go for the largest some of money which was a whopping £80,000 and viewers were astonished to see him swiftly fight off the auburn-haired beauty with ease.
