The Masked Dancer: Who was revealed as Odd Socks is eliminated

Odd Socks is the fourth star to be eliminated from The Masked Dancer, and fans were stunned to learn it was really Kimberley Walsh behind the mask.

The panel had completely missed the fact there was a Girls Aloud clue in every clue package for Odd Socks and didn’t guess who the secret celeb was.

Revealing why she chose to do the show, Kimberley explained: ‘I did this for my kids, they love this show.

‘They have no idea. I had to pick Odd Socks, I’m a mum of three boys, that’s my life!’

She added: ‘My kids and my nephews are obsessed with the show and do Masked Dancer competitions every weekend so I wanted to do it for them.

‘I’ve watched all the Masked shows with my boys but as I’m known for being a singer, I thought dancer would be more fun!’

Kimberley added: ‘It’s the hardest thing ever to keep it secret! I’m so close to my family, I feel like I have been avoiding them for weeks.’

The latest reveal came amid a double unmasking as the competition nears its end, with Sea Slug being revealed as Denise Lewis earlier in the night.

Last week, Candlestick was revealed to be Bake Off star Liam Charles, with Pillar and Post also being unmasked as David and Frankie Seaman.

The panel were on the money with Tomato Sauce, who they worked out was Steph McGovern, while the Cactus turned out to be choirmaster Gareth Malone.

Presenter Stacey Dooley was unmasked as the Prawn Cocktail, having taken part in the show while secretly pregnant with her first child.

Joanna Page was the second star to be revealed in the competition and had been in the adorable Pig costume.

The first Masked Dancer to be revealed was Jesse Metcalfe, who was under the astronaut costume and was the first to be voted off the show.

Jesse, who is best known for his portrayal of John Rowland on Desperate Housewives, left the panel and the audience stunned as nobody had realised the Hollywood star was competing on the show.
