The View isnt on this week – but heres when it will return

The View hosts debate Lana Del Rey at Glastonbury

The View hasn’t been on this week and fans are eager to know when it is going to make a comeback.

The ABC talk show is the place to be if you’re a fan of heated debates, political conversations and juicy celebrity interviews.

Together, Whoopi Goldberg, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro, Sunny Histin, Joy Behar and Alyssa Farah Griffin, make up an entertaining and often insightful panel.

Unfortunately, The View hasn’t aired since Friday, June 30, leaving the Hot Topics table far too quiet.

There is no need to be concerned, however, as this is part of a scheduled hiatus.

The View wasn’t on last week and won’t return for the rest of this week as the stars are taking a break for the Fourth of July holiday.

Independence Day was actually on Tuesday but celebrations are taking place throughout the week and more so at the weekend.

This isn’t the first time the cast has taken a break to mark a holiday either.

In March, The View wasn’t airing to pay respect during the Memorial Day Weekend.

Instead of live episodes airing on ABC, fans have been treated to re-runs of The View.

Tomorrow, Friday, July 7, the network is going to show the June 29 installment which featured Ashley Park, Sherry Cola, Stephanie Hsu and Sabrina Wu.

Thankfully, the wait for new episodes is almost over as The View will return next week on Monday, July 10.

Prior to the break, the co-hosts welcomed the likes of Kim Cattrall to the panel.

The glamorous 66-year-old is best known for playing Samantha Jones in the unforgettable Sex and the City franchise.

She sadly didn’t appear in the first season of And Just Like That… but will be making a cameo in the series two finale.

Cattrall told The View she only agreed to the comeback on the basis she would once again be dressed by the show’s original designer Patricia Field, giving her that “Samantha style” once more.

The View is available to watch weekdays on ABC.
