This Mornings Dr Scott shares funniest question pet owners ask: Its a corker!

This Morning's resident vet Dr Scott Miller has opened up about the funniest question he's faced from a pet owner, admitting that while no query is "stupid," there are some that have made him chuckle.

The vet moved to the UK in the 90s and fast became a fan favourite when he – and his adorable pooch Skully – began appearing on the ITV daytime show to help the nation with their animal issues.

Speaking to OK!, Dr Scott now revealed one of he most unintentionally hilarious questions he's faced during his decades as an animal expert and qualified vet.

Holding back a laugh, he told us: “I think my number one is ‘Is my rabbit a lesbian?’. It's absolute corker, which I enjoyed greatly."

“There’s no taboo subject and I think animals do make us laugh for lots of different reasons. People are just really interested in their animals."

And while Dr Scott always remains composed on This Morning, the same can't always be said for the animals who've joined him on the show.

In one memorable moment, his own dog had an accident on the ITV show's carpet midway through a live segment while another embarrassing moment occurred as a seal did an “arc of urine” while he was on air on the River Thames.

Dr Scott said: “So there's never, never a dull moment! You kind of have to have your wits about you and always have a smile on your face. Because you know we're trying to educate the nation but at the same time we're trying to keep people's spirits up.”

Dr Scott has been a qualified vet for over 20 years and told OK! that being a vet is a “challenging profession” due to dealing with life and death which “can take its toll”.

Talking about the current high demand for vets in the UK, Dr Scott said: “The professional life at the moment [for a vet] on average is only six years before they move to something else.

“So there is a high burn out rate and It’s a profession that needs to be looked after a little bit."

Talking about the This Morning, Dr Scott said it is a great place to work and that he “loves" being part of the show's team.

Teasing what really went on at Alison Hammond’s recent birthday bash, he admitted: "There were definitely some photos that will never surface in the press."

“What I love about it most is it really is a family," he added. "It's such a great place to work, I absolutely love it."

The busy vet is also hosting the Wellness Centre on Saturday & Sunday of the Goodwoof Dog Festival and will also join a group panel Q&A.

Dr Scott, who will be at the event next month for the second year in a row, said: “I’m just so glad that it's come back and I heard it being sort of touted as the Chelsea Flower Show of dog shows, dog festivals, and I would absolutely agree with that.”

He continued: “It's just really top drawer. Really amazing place. And it's just such a fun event to attend with your dog.”
