Vicky Pattison in furious rant after her Instagram post is banned for 'hate speech' | The Sun

VICKY Pattison has hit out at social media site Instagram after her post was removed for containing "hate speech".

The former Geordie Shore star took to the platform to complain that a "fun little reel" with her fiancé Eric Ramadan had been banned.

Vicky, 34, who has a mammoth 5.2million followers on Instagram, was left furious when her post was deleted from the site.

The video clip, which saw the reality TV star joke about Ercan, 38, having the "emotional capabilities of a slipper" was removed for "hate speech" against the community guidelines.

Sharing a screenshot of a message from Instagram to her stories, she revealed the site had asked her to "express her intent clearly".

Furiously hitting back against the decision, she penned over the image: "Instagram are you f**king joke me?

"A fun little reel about my fella having the emotional capabilities of a slipper is considered to be 'hate speech'?

"Yet there are children being bullied to the point of suicide? Professionally athletes being racially abused and young women being cyber stalked to the point where they don't feel safe in their own homes that you supposedly can't do anything about?

"But THIS is a big priority? You need to address your priorities."

Vicky went on to post on her grid about the experience, with an image and caption that has now been deleted by Instagram.

The post read: "To the fellas I'm assuming I triggered so much with this that they felt they need to report me, grow up lads.

"It was just a laugh and if it was maybe a bit too close to home, try listening to your birds once in a while."

Showing how the follow-up post had also been deleted, she concluded: "Instagram has removed THAT post now as well."

Her famous friends hit out at the decision, including Ulrika Jonsson, who had penned under the post: "Absolute f**king JOKE."

It comes after Vicky hit out on Instagram earlier this year about "disrespectful" anti-royalists, as she praised King Charles III.

The former I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here star slammed people who have "forgotten how to behave" following the Queen's death.

Vicky shared several images, including a portrait of King Charles III, as she urged followers to be kind despite their personal beliefs.

Vicky wrote: "I'm just going to leave this here because I feel like over the last couple of days some people on social media have forgotten how to behave.

"You might not be British, or a royalist, or particularly patriotic, but before the queen was absolutely anything else, she was a mother, a grandmother and a great grandmother… and I can't believe people don't think she deserves our respect."
