The couple began dating in 2007 and were together until their split in 2017, but never made it down the aisle.
Who is Jennifer Hudson's ex-husband David Otunga?
For 10 years, Hudson was in a relationship with Otunga.
Born April 7, 1980, in Illinois, he is known for his career as an actor and former professional wrestler.
After earning a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Illinois, he embarked on a successful WWE career and later obtained a law degree from Harvard.
Otunga is also known for finishing as the runner-up on the first season of NXT.
When Otunga is not at work he can often be found posting about his life on Instagram to over 287,000 followers.

Shortly after the break-up was announced, it was reported that Hudson obtained a protective order against her ex-fiancé, alleging that he had "increasingly aggressive, threatening, and harassing behavior" towards her and their son, David Daniel Otunga Jr, according to E! News.
After the accusations were made public, Otunga's lawyer released a statement to TMZ, stating that his client "denies each and every allegation" that Hudson made.
"At no time did Mr. Otunga 'physically push' Ms. Hudson as she has alleged," his lawyer said.
The police quickly opened an investigation into the allegations but he was cleared a few months later.
At this time, an exact reason for their split has not been revealed.

While Otunga might have a very educated background, that has not stopped him from pursuing his interests in the entertainment industry.
