Ryan Thomas is a 38-year-old actor, born on June 10, 1984.
He's a Manchester lad who grew up in the city and went on to star in its home-grown soap, Coronation Street.
His little brother, Adam, also inherited the acting gene and played Adam Barton in Emmerdale.
Meanwhile, another sibling called Scott is known by telly lovers for starring in the 2016 series of ITV2's Love Island, where he found love with Kady McDermott.

How did Ryan Thomas meet Lucy Mecklenburgh?
The former Coronation Street star fell for ex-Towie star Lucy Mecklenburgh back in 2017 when they spent a month battling for survival on Celebrity Island With Bear Grylls.
Speaking to the Mirror, Lucy revealed that Ryan had pursued her for years beforehand by direct messaging her via social media but she rejected him until she appeared on the show.

Although Lucy says she is glad the show brought them together, she originally planned to keep their bond strictly professional – while Ryan confessed he anticipated an easy sexual conquest.
Fast forward to June 22, 2019, Ryan proposed to Lucy during a romantic trip to Italy.
The former Towie star took to Instagram to share a picture from the moment he popped the question in the picturesque Italian resort of Positano.
She wrote: "I said YES" along with a ring emoji.
In the picture, the couple can be seen smiling on a veranda with a nighttime view of the Amalfi Coast behind them.
Holding Ryan's face, Lucy showed off her glittering engagement ring.

Ryan welcomed a baby boy Roman Ravello Thomas with Lucy on March 7, 2020.
Ryan told The Sun: “Lucy has been a supermum.
“There is no rule book about being a mother and I think it has been a day-to-day challenge and she has dealt with it all amazingly, I’m super proud of her.”
On May 31, 2022, it was revealed that Lucy had given birth to their second child, a girl.
Ryan is already dad to Scarlett, born October 26, 2008, from his previous relationship with Tina O'Brien.

Ryan made his on-screen debut as Jason Grimshaw in Coronation Street in December 2000.
He took a brief diversion from life on the cobbles in 2012 for the spin-off show Corrie Goes to Kenya, in which he teamed up with on-screen mum Sue Cleaver (who plays Eileen Grimshaw) and ex co-star Brooke Vincent (who plays Sophie Webster) as well as Ben Price (who takes on the role of Nick Tilsley).
He also starred on Celebrity Island.
In June 2016, Ryan left Coronation Street after nearly sixteen years.
The following year, he joined the cast of the soap opera Neighbours as Rafael Humphreys.
