Abbott Elementary is an ABC mockumentary about a group of passionate teachers who find themselves thrown together in a Philadelphia public school.
Due to the success of season 1, ABC has confirmed that they will be bringing it back for a second season.
The news was announced by Abbott Elementary character Ava Coleman, played by Janelle James, who sent home a letter to her "faculty and students" on Instagram.
"The camera crew I hired to showcase all that I've made happen at our beautiful school this I'm a star," Coleman wrote.

The second season of the show premiered on September 21, 2022 in time for the school session to begin.
