Brit tourist, 19, crushed to death and passenger injured in horror quad bike crash on Greek holiday | The Sun

A BRITISH teenager has died while on holiday after being crushed by his overturned quadbike.

The bike is thought to have deviated from the road in Zakynthos early Friday morning, fatally injuring the 19-year-old.

Another 19-year-old British national was inside the vehicle, but suffered only minor injuries.

Authorities said both occupants of the vehicle were wearing helmets at the time of the crash, while driving "at a slow speed".

An investigation is underway by local police, and a toxicological exam will be taken from the deceased teenager.

Last week, Rory Deegan, 22, from Oldtown, Cullohill, Co Laois, and a student at the Technological University of the Shannon in Limerick were found dead in a swimming pool on the same Greek island.
