Jackass star Steve-O detained by police after leaping off iconic London landmark | The Sun

AN actor who starred in comedy Jackass has been detained by police after leaping off an iconic London landmark.

Steve-O, 49, was put into the back of a cop car after he jumped from Tower Bridge during a trip to the capital.

He riled up spectators as he plunged into the River Thames on Thursday.

The adrenaline junkie said officers were concerned that the stunt would inspire more people to do it, reports TMZ.

Pictures show the now-comedian sat on steps near the bridge dripping wet as he's questioned after making the jump.

He was released shortly after, it is understood.

During his UK trip, Steve-O also jumped from one of the famous red double-decker buses – which he used a ladder to climb on top of.

Wearing an "I love London" T-shirt, the actor said jumping from the bus was harder due to the concrete landing.

He also donned a Union Jack bucket hat, carried a flag-covered umbrella and waved the flag around.

Steve-O is currently touring the country to perform his comedy show the Bucket List.
