Meghan Markle makes surprise return to Instagram to give her coffee brand a boost | The Sun

MEGHAN Markle has made a surprise return to Instagram to give her coffee brand a boost.

The Duchess of Sussex made a rare appearance in a video on the Clevr Blends Instagram page that was shared last night.

It is the first time Meghan was seen on Instagram for a good while, having been absent on social media for years.

The Duchess' apparent revival on social media comes after she has remained largely invisible since the publication of Harry's explosive memoir Spare.

Clevr Blends is based in California where Meghan and hubby Prince Harry now live.

And 41-year-old Meghan first announced she was backing the "wellness brand" back in December 2020.

In the footage, Clevr founder Hannah Mendoza discussed how the coffee brand had grown.

Meghan was seen in clips as she paid a visit to the company and drank one of the lattes.

Speaking about Hannah, Meghan said: "This investment is in support of a passionate female entrepreneur who prioritizes building community alongside her business.

"I'm proud to invest in Hannah's commitment to sourcing ethical ingredients and creating a product that I personally love and has a holistic approach to wellness.

"I believe in her and I believe in her company."

The Duchess was dressed in her Burberry ‘Maythorne’ silk trench coat, a white Ralph Lauren shirt and a pair of dark jeans.

She also wore gold jewellery on her arms as well as her Logan Hollowell ‘Baby Queen’ Water Drop Emerald Solitaire Necklace.

Hannah, who started the company in 2016, said: "Three years ago, everything changed. None other than Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex,  had started drinking our lattes.

"Not only did she love the product but she was extremely passionate about female founders and sustainable sourcing.'

"Meghan ended up becoming our first investor, advisor and biggest Clevr advocate.

"She even sent our turmeric latte to friends. A few days later, I open my phone to see Oprah herself making our superlatte in our kitchen."

It was previously revealed that Meghan invested in Clevr blends which bought nearly 19 tons of oat milk powder from a company in Urmqi, the capital of Xinjiang.

However, it is unclear just how much money Meghan invested in the company.

The start-up business sells latte powders in matcha, chai and coffee flavours, which are made into a drink by adding hot or cold water.

It comes after it was claimed Harry and Meghan Markle have not yet decided if they will attend the King's coronation.

Harry is understood not to have had any contact with either since the release of his divisive memoir Spare last month.
