A TIKTOK trend has been terrorising elderly villagers as teenagers bang on their doors to the tune of Kesha.
The bizarre online craze has hit rural Little Paxton, Cambridgeshire, this week as elderly residents are left fearing a break in.
Youngsters are going door to door to complete the so-called heartbeat challenge.
They are knocking and kicking doors to the tune of Kesha's 2012 club hit Die Young and fleeing before residents answer.
Pamela Russell, 50, and her partner Brian Johnson were watching TV on Saturday evening when the loud bangs started.
She told The Times: "It felt like the walls had bounced. I thought they’d taken a run up at the door and gone in with two feet."

An 82-year-old, who hasn't been named, said she was left shaking for days – until her 14-year-old granddaughter explained.
She added: "She said it was a silly TikTok trend."
Teenagers across the UK and the US have been taking part in the trend – with reports in London as well as Barnsley, South Yorkshire.
The "door kicking challenge" has 234 million views worldwide.

A Cambridge Constabulary spokesman said: "On Sunday 26 February we received a report of anti-social behaviour involving young people kicking the front door of a property in St Neots the previous evening.
"The elderly resident was shaken by what happened. We take all reports of anti-social behaviour seriously and encourage victims to report incidents to us."
The Sun Online has approached TikTok for comment.
