Nicola Peltz proves her ‘feud’ with mother-in-law Victoria Beckham has finally thawed as the family reunite to watch Sir Elton John at his last London gig

Nicola Peltz proved the ‘feud’ with her mother-in-law Victoria Beckham has finally thawed as the family reunited to watch their friend Sir Elton John at his last London show on Tuesday.

The actress, 28, and Posh, 49, posed for a photo at the gig held at the 02 Arena. It was a display of unity for the family, which comes months after Nicola brushed off rumours of a fall out.

Nicola and Brooklyn, 24, are back in the U.K to see his godfather on stage after time in the States and Victoria and husband David, 48, looked delighted to be reunited with their son.

Taking to Instagram, Victoria shared a snap with Harper, 11, Brooklyn, Nicola, Cruz, 18, and David, before uploading a cheeky picture with her daughter and the Marvel star near the toilets and jokingly captioned it ‘chic’.

She wrote: ‘Back together again! I love you all so much @davidbeckham @brooklynpeltzbeckham @cruzbeckham @nicolaannepeltzbeckham #harperseven we miss u @romeobeckham xx’

Nicola showed her appreciation by comment four love heart emojis and reshared the snap of herself with Harper and Victoria on Instagram.

Rumours of fall out between the American beauty and Victoria emerged after Nicola’s multi-million dollar wedding in Florida last April.

The family later quashed this by attending Victoria’s fashion show in Paris back in March.

Nicola previously confirmed the rumours had begun after she didn’t wear her mother-in-law’s wedding dress design when she married Brooklyn in an October interview with The Times.

But she denied there was a ‘feud’ and explained that the Victoria ‘s atelier simply hadn’t had time to make the dress, as she insisted: ‘No family is perfect.’

Nicola said: ‘It’s not a feud! I keep seeing everywhere that word, ‘feud, feud, feud!?’ I mean, maybe they picked up on something? And now they’re labelling it feud?’

‘I think it all started, and I’ve said this before, because I didn’t end up wearing Victoria’s wedding dress, but the real truth is, I really, really wanted to wear it and I thought it was so beautiful that Brooklyn’s mom got to make that for me! And I was really excited to wear it! And I didn’t end up wearing it.’

She went on to say: ‘But I, truthfully, was really excited to wear her dress. It makes me sad when I read things that people say I was never planning on wearing it. That’s just not true.’

During the show on Tuesday night, David and Harper put on an adorable display as they sung along with Sir Elton.

Heartfelt: Victoria  took to her Instagram page to share the clip of David and Harper singing

Harper smiled as she flung her arms around her father’s shoulder, with David showing off his falsetto voice as he sung along to the chorus.

Taking to Instagram, Victoria shared a clip of the pair, with the former Spice Girl writing: ‘Wait for it…… I love you so much @davidbeckham @brooklynpeltzbeckham @cruzbeckham @nicolaannepeltzbeckham #harperseven Final show in London we love you @eltonjohn x.’

Sir Elton, 76, performed the last of his shows at London’s O2 Arena on Tuesday, with the star retiring from gigging after Goodbye Yellow Brick Road tour in July.

The musician confirmed earlier this month he would ‘not be going on tour again’ after his current series of shows ends in Stockholm, Sweden on July 8.

He admitted he is looking forward to ‘a little bit of freedom’ following being away from his husband David Furnish and two children Zach, 12, and Elijah, eight.

The hitmaker said: ‘Touring is exhausting for me now, and it takes me away from my family and my children.’

Sir Elton will occasionally play shows such as the Emmy promotion evening in Los Angeles to promote his new Disney plus show Elton John Live: Farewell From Dodger Stadium.

The pop legend’s tour is already the most lucrative in history, earning £678million so far.

The previous record for the most money earned on a music tour was held by artist Ed Sheeran’s Divide tour, which he held for four years but was topped in January by Sir Elton.

Meanwhile, it has emerged Sir Elton will be joined by mystery guests during his Glastonbury headline slot.

The Tiny Dancer singer will headline the Pyramid Stage at Worthy Farm, Somerset, next month, with Queens of the Stone Age, Skepta and The Chemical Brothers also on the festival bill.

Born to perform: Sir Elton, 76, performed the last of his shows at London’s O2 Arena on Tuesday (pictured on stage in Barcelona, Spain last week)

He told DJ Scott Mills in a BBC Radio 2 chat on Tuesday about his Glasto appearance: ‘It’s the first time I’ve been asked… it’s come at the right time, I’m a great believer in serendipity and fate and it’s the most wonderful way to sign off in England.

‘I’ve got guests and I can’t tell you who they are.’

Sir Elton – who also confirmed during the interview he will feature on previous Glasto headliner Dolly Parton’s new album – has collaborated with a huge range of acts, and his most recent album, 2021’s The Lockdown Sessions, is packed with appearances from A-list music stars including Dua Lipa, Miley Cyrus, and Stevie Nicks.

Elton, added about his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour, which launched in 2018 and experienced numerous delays due to the pandemic: ‘It’s been everything I’d hoped it would be and more… it’s been better than I could ever have imagined it to be… I float off the stage into oblivion.

‘I’m happy, I’m happy in my personal life and my professional life, everything in my life is so wonderful.

‘So I think that’s why the performances really satisfy me.’

When asked what his ideal life will be after he finishes touring, Elton replied: ‘Everything is up in the air… boys go back to school… piano won’t go away forever… it’ll be very sporadic, I really don’t want to tour again…

‘I’m not going back to Vegas.’
