Aaron Carter’s former fiancée, Melanie Martin, is questioning the singer’s cause of death after seeing the autopsy results.

“[This is] not closure for me,” the lash bar owner told TMZ Tuesday, saying she has been left with “only … more questions.”

The 30-year-old, who is “still in shock” and misses Carter “every day,” expressed doubt that Carter died by drowning.

“He was wearing a T-shirt and necklace in the bathtub which doesn’t make sense. Why would he be in a bathtub with clothes on?” Martin asked. “I don’t understand the chain of events.”

Page Six obtained the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s report on Tuesday, which claimed the 34-year-old died of drowning, in part.

Carter also reportedly died of the effects of difluoroethane, a flammable gas that is often used as the propellant in cans of compressed air, as well as alprazolam, a generic form of Xanax.

The “I Want Candy” singer’s manner of death was ruled accidental.

News broke in November 2022 that Carter had been found dead in his Lancaster, Calif., home after his housekeeper discovered his body in the bathtub.

His rep confirmed his passing to us, saying, “Aaron worked very hard towards the end of his life in recovery, to be a good father and to make amends with his family.”

In a statement of her own, Martin wrote, “I knew he was struggling, and I tried everything to help him. He has a very independent and strong personality, and I couldn’t help him in the way I felt he needed it.

“I only wish I had more people to help me with him,” she continued. “I will now be raising our son as a single mother and this is the worst day of my life, but I have to be strong for our son. I’m devastated.”

Carter is survived by son Prince, now 1, whom he and Martin welcomed in November 2021.

Martin is not the only of Carter’s loved ones to refuse to believe the “Dancing With the Stars” alum died of an accidental overdose.

In March, Jane Carter released grisly images of her son’s death scene, writing via Facebook that his passing was “never investigated it as a possible crime because of his addiction past.”

Additionally, Aaron’s friend Brian Cassidy and former manager Morgan Matthews told Page Six of their suspicions as the rapper often spoke of “people being after” him.
