Amanda Owen rules out appearing on new show, which replaces Our Yorkshire Farm

Our Yorkshire Farm's Amanda Owen will not feature in a new Channel 5 series alongside her ex, Clive, it has been revealed.

The show is being replaced by a new programme – Beyond The Yorkshire Farm: Reuben & Clive – featuring Clive and his eldest son, which launches next month.

Fans will be disappointed to learn, however, that Amanda, 48 – dubbed the 'sexy shepherdess' – will not be part of the project following an acrimonious split from her 67-year old husband earlier this year.

Millions of viewers had watched the pair – who were together for 21 years – raise their nine kids over five series since the show's inception in 2018.

Channel 5 confirmed on Monday (November 21) that it wouldn't be returning for a sixth series, however.

Beyond The Yorkshire Farm: Reuben & Clive will see Clive and Reuben, 18, embark on a new venture in the Yorkshire Dales beyond their remote farm, as the pair launch a groundwork and plant hire firm.

The series will chart Reuben's first year in adulthood as he gets to grips with life in business alongside his dad, best mate Tom, and girlfriend Sarah.

The broadcaster's factual boss Daniel Pearl said: "The Owens have become everyone’s favourite farming family and millions have enjoyed watching their unique way of life. It’s fantastic that we can now all follow Reuben and Clive on their next adventure."

Amanda confirmed her separation from Clive with a statement in June which read: "This hasn’t been easy, but we both believe it’s the right choice for the future of our family.

"Although we are no longer a couple, we continue to work on the farm and co-parent together with our number one priority the happiness and well-being of our children."
