A CONTROVERSIAL Married at First Sight star has issued a health update after his hospital dash.

TV groom George Roberts has revealed how he was rushed to hospital last month.

George has now taken to his social media channels to praise the NHS for their care.

He told his 106,000 Instagram followers: "OMG the biggest and hugest thank you to our beloved @NHS.

"To all the nurses and consultants that looked after me in Evesham Hospital in June And to all the amazing humans that were by my side today.

"#NHS To those that know and are supporting me through this I can't tell you how much I Love you and appreciate you. You know who you are Glad to be home #nhsgoat."

George stopped short of revealing what prompted his hospital dash and admission to fans.

During his stint on Married at First Sight viewers watched as he got hitched to April Banbury.

The pair had a mixed experience to date on the E4 show, with wedding dress designer April's cheating marring their honeymoon.

Dad of four George accused April, 32, of not dishing the complete dirt on a past lover before she burst into tears at the Married At First Sight commitment ceremony when they analysed if their relationship could work in the real world.
