MARK Wright has revealed a romantic story about how he met his wife Michelle Keegan, admitting he had to “chase her for a year.”
The former Towie hunk was appearing on the Private Parts podcast, hosted by Made In Chelsea stars Jamie Laing when he shared how he’d pursued Michelle.
Mark, 36, who has been married to Michelle since 2015, explained how they met, saying: “Sort of just similar circles, really.
“Then I think the first time was at an event together. We were both attendees at the X Factor and we were in the green room backstage and it was her and her mum and me and my cousin.”
He continued: “We got talking and I think it was about three days later, we ended up being on a table next to each other at a Manchester United charity dinner.
“We got talking and got on really well. Then I saw her at the NTAs a week later – I just kept seeing her.

“Nothing bloomed from there but people were suspecting things.”
Mark explained it was a year later after they’d bumped into each other that he asked her out.
The reality star added: “Yeah it all went from there. I chased her for a while.”
Mark and his actress wife Michelle, 36, recently celebrated their 8th wedding anniversary together at a famous hotel.

The couple looked as stunning as ever as they cuddled up outside the celeb favourite Beverly Hills Hotel in Hollywood.
Michelle looked effortlessly glam as she flashed her tum in a crop top.
She teamed the white sleeveless top with high waisted baggy cream trousers at the Beverly hills hotel where the world's biggest stars have flocked for the Grammy Awards parties.
Mark beamed as he proudly stood alongside Michelle.
He looked toned in a dark t-shirt and matching joggers.
Mark looked every inch the star as he threw on a pair of sunglasses.
The TV presenter also posted a throwback shot from their glam wedding day to celebrate the milestone.
He wrote alongside the shot: "8 years Treac!! I love you more every day!!
Happy anniversary."
Fans flocked to Mark's Instagram page to congratulate him.
