Masked Singers Pigeon rumbled – TOWIE icon, blonde bombshell to comedy legend
With the Masked Singer UK in full swing, theories surrounding which celebrities are behind the masks are swirling more than ever.
Pigeon is performing tonight (January 21), and if you're anything like us, you're probably completely baffled as to who might be beneath the sweet and quaint disguise.
So far, there have been many clues given about Pigeon – which some people have been compiling and attributing to different celebrities.

But what are some of the clues so far, and what guesses have viewers come up with?
Well in terms of apparent clues thus far, Pigeon is dressed as an old lady and looks super quaint yet cosy.
She explained how she has "ruffled a few feathers" in her time, which also hints at her being no spring chicken.
Pigeon could be seen with carrots in her handbag; stood by a welcome mat that said: "Home is where the heart is," and sat down to have tea and biscuits in the capital city.
Gemma Collins
On the night of Pigeon's No Scrubs performance, judge Mo Gilligan was the first of the judges to speculate that she could be The Only Way is Essex's Gemma Collins.
This then led to an onslaught of similar guesses on social media, with fans all saying the same thing.
One person wrote: "I think Pigeon is Gemma Collins, definitely sounds like her."
"If Pigeon isn’t Gemma Collins I’ll be AMAZED," added a second.
A third then wrote: "I think this is Gemma Collins something about the way she sang made me think it's her."
While a fourth guessed: "I haven't got a clue! #Piegeon.. erm… Gemma Collins? Just going off the Essex accent lol."
Catherine Tate
With Pigeon wearing tartan slippers, a pink knitted cardigan and old fashioned spectacles could the costume be a nod to Catherine's best-known foul-mouthed alter-ego?
Well, some fans think that the clues that Pigeon has exuded add up to the iconic nan that Catherine Tate portrays, which could mean Catherine is behind the mask.
Giving Pigeon's clues, the fluffy creature said: "I might be an old bird but let me tell you ageing has never bothered me," which is a statement that could potentially have to clues wrapped into one.
Catherine's famous portrayal of schoolgirl Lauren famously said: "Am I bovvered?"
Emily Atack
Some fans – and even Masked Singer judges – are convinced that The Inbetweeners' star Emily Atack is behind the disguise of Pigeon.
During one of the performances, Pigeon sang No Scrubs by TLC in a very funny way, which led judge Davina McCall suggesting that she could be a comedian.
Emily is an actress and comedian, who even has her own show entitled The Emily Atack show, which focuses on comedy sketches.
Not only this but fans are going wild on social media too.
"Pigeon is @EmAtack," penned one, while a second wrote: "Pigeon is either Emily Atack or her mum Kate Robbins."
Taking to Twitter herself to ruffle the rumours even more, Emily uploaded a selfie where she screwed up her face.
Alongside the snap she tagged the ITV1 show's account and wrote: "I do look a bit like that pigeon to be fair."
Emma Thompson
Although not the most-guessed celebrity when it comes to who might be hiding behind Pigeon, sometimes the lesser guessed celebs are in fact correct – so could Emma be behind Pigeon's identity?
The 63-year-old British actress who has starred in the likes of Nanny McPhee and Love Actually might not be an obvious guess, but some fans are convinced.
Probably down to the age clues, the fact that Pigeon could seen in London, and also maybe because Emma starred in Saving Mr Banks.
When Emma starred in Saving Mr Banks she played the role of P.L. Travers who wrote Mary Poppins.

And in Mary Poppins there is a famous scene that involves pigeons outside of St Pauls cathedral where a lady sings Feed The Birds (Tuppence A Bag).
"I'm going for Catherine Tate (she said am I bothered at the end!!) or Emma Thompson from the clues," wrote one unsure viewer.
Another declared: "Pigeon – Emma Thompson," before adding: "Emma Thompson is my guess for Pigeon! Sounds just like her & I could see Emma coming on the show as a Nana pigeon singing TLC, totally embodying the character. The clues fit so far."
While a third echoed: "Pigeon sounds like Emma Thompson."
But some fans are convinced Emma might be Otter… so only time will tell.
Katherine Ryan
Katherine Ryan is a 39-year-old Canadian comedian who is a huge hit on British TV.
Taking the comedy scene in the UK by storm, the clues about Pigeon that add up to her being a comedian could potentially lead to Katherine.
And not only this, but Pigeon said that she would be competitive in the competition but "only with myself" – which honestly just feels very sassy and therefore oozes Katherine Ryan vibes.
Fans online are convinced too, with many airing their views on social media.
"Pigeon is a comedian I think, could be Katherine Ryan," penned one.
"Katherine Ryan. Phenomenal Pigeon," wrote another.
While a third said: "Pigeon is Katherine Ryan."
The Masked Singer airs on Saturday nights at 7pm on ITV1 and ITVX
