Tori Anderson stars as FBI Agent Kate Whistler in the latest NCIS spin-off, NCIS Hawaii. Since the CBS series launched last year, fans have adored watching Whistler’s developing romance with NCIS Agent Lucy Tara (Yasmine Al-Bustami) as the main first gay relationship in the franchise. While Anderson is in an LGBTQ+ relationship in NCIS Hawaii, the 34-year-old is actually married to a man in real life.

Who is the NCIS Hawaii star Tori Anderson married to?

Canadian actress Tori Anderson is married to Mitch Myers, having tied the knot at a stunning Caribbean ceremony in January 2018.

In a cute Instagram post, Myers wrote to his future bride at the end of 2017: “18 more days until you’re stuck with me forever.”

A few months later and Anderson also addressed her new husband on social media.

She wrote “Every day I learn more about you and every day I fall more in love,” she wrote. “You’re compassionate, generous, kind, tenacious and hot damn, do you make me laugh.”

While the pair have only been married for almost five years, they have been together for a lot longer.

His third-ever Instagram post was in 2013 with a picture of him and Anderson with the caption: “Me and the babe @tortorra_ on the set of Spun Out.”

According to VimBuzz, Anderson and Myers have been dating since 2010.

It isn’t believed that the couple have any children, as of writing this article.

Little is known about his career but Myers has done some acting in the past.

In fact, he met his wife Anderson while on the set of TV movie You May Kiss the Bridesmaid.

Since then, Myers has only been in a few shorts, Help Yourself, which he directed, The Day I Killed Him and Go On and Bleed.

In comparison, Anderson has had roles in a plethora of shows and films over the years.

Some of her previous work has been in The LA Complex, MsLabelled, Open Heart, No Tomorrow and Blindspot.

Most recently, she returned to starring in TV movies last year in The Secret Sauce, A Bridesmaid in Love and Campfire Christmas.

Whistler and Tara’s journey was a rocky one in the first season of NCIS Hawaii with a number of ups and downs.

Thankfully, they were able to resolve their issues by the finale, something Anderson was very happy with.

Talking to Cinema Blend about the series one ending, Anderson said: “Oh my gosh, I was so happy! You know, I think it was such a tumultuous journey.

“There were ups and then downs, and then more downs, and then valleys.

“So it was really nice to end on a high note. I think that Kate learned a lot about communication throughout the season, and honesty.

“Watching her grow was a gift that I didn’t expect.

“When you go into a show, you don’t really know what your character’s arc is going to be, and I was very pleasantly surprised and very happy and thrilled that at the end of the day, they got back together, because can you imagine how disappointing it would be if they didn’t? It just would be heartbreaking. So I was very happy.”

NCIS Hawaii returns for the NCIS crossover special on Monday, January 9, 2023, on CBS in the USA. A UK release date hasn’t been announced.
