Strictly's Angela Scanlon shares biggest fear in 'awkward' admission ahead of dance floor debut | The Sun

Strictly's Angela Scanlon has shared her biggest fear in an 'awkward' admission ahead of her dance floor debut.

The Your Home Made Perfect star is part of this year's Strictly line-up and according to the bookies, she's an early favourite to win.

However, Angela, 39, isn't so sure about her chances on the dance floor.

Angela said: "[I want to] properly push myself out of my comfort zone, I'm so damn awkward and clumsy."

She added on the Breakfast Show to stand in host Gaby Roslin: "I believe in feelings and timing and all of those sorts of things.

"I’m not particularly fit. I have no idea how my pelvic floor is going to react to that level of jumping.

"I’ve never done any of these dances in my life bar a drunken jive at a family wedding, so it certainly feels like there’s room to learn and really push myself."

Despite her reservations about how she will do in the competition, Angela is already loving the feeling that comes with being part of Strictly.

She said: "The joy! Honestly, I’m so overwhelmed by how kind people have been already.

"I didn’t quite realise just how loved the show is so to be a little part of that feels amazing."
