The Masked Singer UK fans ‘work out’ Rhino is X Factor star after incredible performance

The Masked Singer UK fans think they have figured out who Rhino is after an incredible performance on Saturday night.

Only recently on the hit ITV series, Piece of Cake was unveiled as Lulu and Ghost was unmasked as Chris Kamara.

And ahead of more characters being unmasked, some viewers think they have figured out who Rhino is and believe that it could be The X Factor star James Arthur, who won the ITV talent show in 2012.

During Saturday's show, Rhino performed an incredible rendition of Snow Patrol's Chasing Cars

Taking to Twitter, one person said: "Rhino on #MaskedSingerUK is deffo James Arthur."

A different account put: "Rhino is James Arthur. I will not take any other guesses they are all wrong #MaskedSingerUK."

Another follower wrote: "Rhino has got to be James Arthur!? Surely? #MaskedSingerUK."

While a different viewer added: "I love James Arthur and his voice and Rhino sounded just like him #MaskedSingerUK."

However, despite the theories, James took to Twitter to deny the speculation, writing: "For all those theorising, I am not the Rhino on #MaskedSingerUK it’s probably Lewis Capaldi."

But fans were quick to point out if James was the Rhino, he would say this, as one person tweeted: "I feel like if it was you you're damn good actor!"

With James replying: "I am a damn good actor."

While another account put: "Come on… you're gona say that! Only thing throwing me off is the clues and if it is you then you're holding back those vocals."

To which the singer replied with an eyes emoji.

Another show watcher wrote: "That's something Rhino would say!" with James replying: "True!"

It comes as The Masked Singer UK fans think they have figured out Knitting's identity after a "clever" maths clue on the show.

During a recent episode, Knitting said the riddle: "Knitting is easy, it's the crossing of sticks, count all of your stitches, there should be 26."

Viewers were quick to predict it could be Steps' Claire Richards, 45, as 26 equals the amount of the band's iconic song 5,6,7,8.

The Masked Singer continues on Saturdays on ITV.
