Glam wrestler finally achieves WWE ‘dream’ – but is sacked just one hour later
A WWE star who achieved her "dream" was sacked just one hour after setting their sights on a homecoming show.
With the wrestling brand set to head to Perth, Australia for their well-loved Elimination Chamber PPV, it seemed like the perfect time for Tenille Dashwood to make her mark. But the star was sacked just an hour after the date was confirmed.
WWE officials released information regarding their PPV events next year, with February 24, 2024 set to take the stars to Australia. Tenille posted a screenshot of the event and labelled it a "dream".

But just an hour later, the 34-year-old's second stint with the flagship wrestling brand came to a close. A rather awkward follow-up tweet followed from Tenille, confirming the company had let her go.
Her initial "dream" tweet is still standing, though it was followed up with devastating news about her employment with WWE. Tenille wrote: "Oops nevermind. I just got released… I am no longer with WWE."
It is not the first time the star has been released by the company either. Tenille enjoyed a lengthy period with the company from 2011 to 2017 before she was released. She wrestled in Impact Wrestling and other independent circuits before rejoining in 2022.
After bouts with big names such as Ronda Rowsey and Nikki Cross, a second stint in the WWE has come to a close for Tenille, who formerly wrestled under the name Emma. Fans posted their condolences following her release.

One fan wrote: "I am so sorry, sis. You deserved so much more." Another wrestling account added: "Wish you the best for the future."
Confirmation of her release was branded "insane" by a third fan, while fellow stars Mustafa Ali and Rick Boogs were further casualties of the recent roster cull. It is unclear if these are the only releases made by the company so far.
WWE is no stranger to wild releases and signings, with the Daily Star previously reporting their intention to bring footballing sensation Cristiano Ronaldo to an event in Saudi Arabia. The Crown Jewel event is often filled with mad sightings, and Ronaldo could make an appearance in November.
