Vegas family who called 911 over '8ft aliens' overrun with trespassers

Vegas family who dialed 911 to claim there were eight-foot tall aliens in backyard now threaten to SHOOT trespassers to their home after it was overrun with curious UFO sleuths

  • Police bodycam video of their 911 call on April 30 went viral shortly afterwards
  • The family – parents and two sons – said they saw ‘eight foot aliens’ with ‘big eyes’
  • They have since been inundated with intruders keen to see the giant extra-terrestrials – as their attorney warns they are armed with guns

A Las Vegas family who dialed 911 after they saw ‘eight-foot aliens’ in their backyard have since been inundated with trespassers eager to see the supernatural beings.

But the household is armed with guns – and they have threatened to shoot any UFO sleuths who come too close, their attorney has warned.

This comes after police installed high-tech surveillance cameras on their roof in an attempt to keep intruders out.

The family – who appear to be parents and two sons – have declined to reveal their identities, after contacting the Las Vegas Police Department (LVPD) on April 30 to report seeing ’10 foot aliens’ with ‘big eyes’ as well as an object falling from the sky.

Bodycam footage from an officer who attended the call-out went viral, and the family previously said they received threats from people who believe they staged an ‘elaborate hoax’.

However, in a new development, UFO sleuths who believe their story have begun bombarding their backyard to try to catch a sighting of the extra-terrestrial giants.

LVPD bodycam video from an officer who attended the April 30 call showed one of the sons describing seeing ’10 foot aliens’ with ‘big eyes’ in the backyard, as well as an object falling from the sky. The force installed cameras on the roof to try to catch the aliens if they returned

Attorney Sam Heidari, who the family has hired to potentially sue any intruders suggested people have gone as far as climbing over walls and sending drones

Attorney Sam Heidari, who the family has hired to sue any intruders, suggested people have gone as far as climbing over walls and sending drones.

‘They don’t have any aliens in the storage or anywhere, so don’t try to climb up the walls or send a drone,’ he told 8 News Now.

He also warned that intruders are risking approaching a gun-wielding household, adding: ‘There is a possibility of injury if they get in, because this family is armed.

‘So it’s fair enough to do it because they cannot determine who is entering, who is a trespasser, who is a thief, and who is a robber.’

When asked whether he thought the family could be staging a hoax, Heidari said: ‘That’s not what I’m hired for’.

Last month, the family said they felt ‘anxious and scared’ and went into lockdown on their property after receiving threats from people who thought they were engaging in a hoax.

They have not discussed the nature of the threats publicly.

They contacted 911 on April 30, saying that there were ‘eight-foot aliens’ in their backyard and that they had seen an object fall from the sky.

A Vegas police officer also picked up a green object on the horizon at around 11.50pm, which has since been identified as a meteor by the American Meteor Society.

‘There’s like an eight-foot person beside it and another one is inside us [sic] and it has big eyes and it’s looking at us — and it’s still there,’ the son of the family told 911.

‘In my backyard. I swear to God this is not a joke, this is actually — we’re terrified,’ the caller claimed.

‘They’re very large. They’re like 8 foot, 9 feet, 10 foot. They look like aliens to us. Big eyes. They have big eyes. Like, I can’t explain it. And big mouth. They’re shiny eyes and they’re not human. They’re 100 percent not human,’ he said.

The responding officers also expressed their trepidation at the odd events.

‘I’m so nervous right now,’ one officer can be heard telling his partner on the bodycam footage.

‘I have butterflies, bro — saw a shooting star and now these people say there’s aliens in their backyard.’

Witnesses described something ‘100 percent not human’ falling from the sky

The sighting, now explained as a meteor,  was caught on Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department bodycam footage

Police searched the area and interviewed witnesses but no new information was found

‘I don’t believe in it but what I saw right now, I do believe in it,’ a witness told police.

The Las Vegas Police Department (LVPD) even placed cameras in their backyard in case the aliens made another landing.

But the force has since closed the case.

Robert Lunsford of the American Meteor Society told NewsNation the green light seen on the police bodycam was ‘a meteor that was larger than normal, probably the size of a basketball up to a beachball’.

He added that it was ‘travelling at tremendous speed and when it strikes the atmosphere it starts to vaporize and that friction causes a very bright flash.

‘We’re certain its a meteor because of the duration of the event – almost everybody reported it lasted between two and five seconds.’

‘That is much too fast for it to be a re-entering satellite or a rocket, and the fact that it was seen over such a wide area is a darn good indication that it was a fireball.’

Cops installed a surveillance camera  on the roof of the family’s home to ‘protect’ them from an UFO fanatics who might bother them

Almost two months after the family’s 911 call, another identified object in the sky was spotted flying over Las Vegas.

Two circular and interlocking beams of light were seen on the horizon, hovering in parallel in a clip filmed on June 22 at 10.30pm, and later posted on social media.

The unidentified white lights were in the sky for ’20 minutes straight’ according to the person who filmed it.
