I used to hide my body in baggy clothes – but now I love getting my cheeks out

A plus-size woman who hid her body away in baggy clothes now embraces hervcurves.

Alicia McCarvell often talks about how she's been taunted by trolls because of her appearance.

People are quick to say how "different" she is to her super-toned husband, Scott McCarvell, just because of her size.

But the body positive content creator, who now boasts 1million followers on Instagram, told people she won't let others control what she wears.

At the time she opened up about her body image insecurities and the obstacles she's had to overcome.

But her recent snaps prove she's definitely feeling good in her own skin, as she showed off her booty with confidence.

In the pictures the brunette beauty is seen posing in black undies with a red and black animal print cover-up over the top.

Due to the fact that the cover up is sheer you were able see right through it, which means everything that lied underneath was on show.

As she turned around she not only flashed her curves, but also gave people a glimpse of her bum as she showed off the slinky bottoms.

Alicia shared the snaps alongside the caption: "Cheeks are OUT and about. Wearing my @knix wingwoman bra and high waisted thong."

She looked amazing and glowed with confidence as she flaunted her curves to the max.

Pairing the look with black heels, a black hand bag and opting for subtle make-up – she really showed how simple fashion can make you look amazing.

Alicia was more self conscious in the past – but now, she's trying to work on it as she needs to start wearing more outfits that make her feel good.

Previously, Alicia wrote: "One of the things that I’ve done to change my relationship with my body was re-evaluate my relationship with clothing.

"For so long I used clothing to hide my fat body, because if people couldn’t see it, then it was less of a burden.

"I used my clothing to blend in, like a baggy T-shirt could help me take up less space.

"I’m a firm believer that if you hide something long enough, it creates a cloud of shame.

"As I started to speak to myself kinder and make choices out of love, I started to realise that my clothing didn’t really reflect WHO I was."

Now it's clear she's being bold with fashion, and her followers can't get enough.

Her recent pictures have been liked over 130,000 times, and hundreds of people commented too.

One person said: "Scott probably fainted seeing you put that shiz on."

Another added: "I think this is one of my favourite looks you've worn! Love it!"

A third also replied: "You in this outfit is EVERYTHING."
