BBC Breakfast’s Nina Warhurst shares first look at baby girl and snaps from hospital bed | The Sun

BBC breakfast star Nina Warhurst has given fans a candid look at her newborn baby girl after giving birth earlier this week.

The 43 year old journalist welcomed her third child with husband Ted.

The news was previously confirmed by her co-stars on BBC Breakfast where Sally Nugent, 51, and Jon Kay, 53, sent their well-wishes.

Now, Nina has shared a brand new snap with her baby girl and allowed fans a peek at the behind the scenes hospital antics.

Sharing a snap of her precious newborn resting on her chest, doting mum Nina looked the picture of joy.

The BBC star captioned the sweet snap: "We've been busy doing nothing."

In a tribute to the NHS, she followed it up by sharing photos of her first post-birth meals in the hospital for each of her three pregnancies.

A bare-faced Nina could be seen devouring plates of food in each of the three snaps after giving birth.

Saying a "happy birthday" to the NHS, she said: "Thanks for the heavenly post-birthing beige."

The name of Nina's newborn is yet to be revealed with her co-stars admitting earlier this week on the BBC morning show that Nina had told them it was a "work in progress".

Sally Nugent told fans: "Nina has told us the baby's name is a work in progress, but the great news is they're all doing well after what Nina says was brilliant care from the team at St Mary's in Manchester. Isn't she gorgeous?"

Sally continued: "I believe this as well – Nina said she's watching from home, morning, Nina!

"Along with the baby and two beautiful big brothers and she's very grateful for all the gorgeous messages she's had from people at home who are watching too.

"So she wants to pass on her thanks for everything – all the kind words people have said."

Jon continued: "And all our love to you and the family, Nina. That is fantastic, we're delighted for you."

Nina confirmed her pregnancy after weeks of speculation on Mother's Day.

She continued to work on the show – and on Eurovision – through the latter stages of her pregnancy and only went on maternity leave on June 21.

Nina and Ted's love story started when they met on holiday in Croatia in 2013.
