MAFS UK returning for LONGEST EVER supersized series after franchise breaks records | The Sun

MARRIED At First Sight UK is returning for a bumper series with a record-breaking number of episodes to entertain fans.

The hugely popular dating show will be on screen for an extra six shows compared to the last series when it makes its comeback – making it the longest yet.

Relationship experts Charlene Douglas, Paul C Brunson, and Mel Schilling will once again be on hand to match a brand new host of brides and grooms.

And unsurprisingly, viewers are in for a real treat, thanks to plenty of marital bliss combined with high drama.

The news comes as it is confirmed the Married At First Sight franchisehas broken broadcasting records.

Its most recent Aussie version, Married At First Sight Australia, was the big drive behind Channel 4 achieving its biggest month ever for streaming in April.

A whopping five billion minutes of Channel 4 content was streamed during the 30 day period, and MAFS Australia regularly occupied the top spot in the weekly BVOD (Broadcaster Video On Demand) charts.

Statistics have revealed that that show is most watched by viewers 16 to 34 year olds.

Last month, The Sun Online exclusively revealed that filming for Married At First Sight UK has already begun.

And there is a familiar face among the cast.

Geordie Shore star Nathanial Valentino has signed up as a groom for the new series and is hoping to snare himself a wife.

Nathanial has also appeared on Geordie Shore: Hot Single Summer, which aired in 2021, as well as E4’s Young Free and Single.

He has also appeared in The Valley’s star Lateysha Grace’s spin off show Million Dollar Baby.

Nathanial now works in events and marketing and splits his time between the UK and Mykonos.

MAFS’ filming will wrap in the summer and the new series will hit E4 later this year.

A telly insider told us: “Nathanial will make great telly. He’s really good looking and has a history with reality TV so he knows how to cause drama and get people talking.”
