Harry Redknapp is going hungry again months after leaving the Jungle
Worried Harry Redknapp fears he may be about to go hungry again – because his wife Sandra keeps feeding their workmen and neglecting him!
The King of the Jungle, 72, can’t believe his good food is going on the builders repairing their home.
Their Sandbanks pad has been flooded and Harry’s long-term love is more keen to keep them well fueled that her own husband, he claims.
Harry has been grumbling on the Chris Evans Virgin Radio Breakfast Show that he has become an after-thought.
It will no doubt remind him of his time in the Outback where he went days without a proper feed as his camp-mates failed their Bushtucker trials.
He joked that the bacon sarnies are distracting the workforce and that they will be living in a building site for a long time.
"She keeps making them bacon sandwiches and cups of tea." said the former Tottenham and West Ham manager.
"I think they don’t spend enough time working and more time eating bacon sandwiches. It’s more like they’re on holiday!
"They like a bit of brown sauce on their bacon sandwiches. Well I like the old brown sauce on my bacon sandwiches!
"But I don’t think we’ve got enough bacon for me to have one so it looks as if I’ll have to go to the shop."
The famished I’m A Celeb champ holds his hands up to being "completely useless".
He says his skills around the house stretch as far as "making the odd cheese sandwich" but needs Sandra, his wife of 54 years, to help him through the rest of the day.
"I can make tea but I can’t make coffee," he admitted.
"Really I can’t do nothing else. I can’t cook, I’ve never written anything. I don’t even have an email.
"I can’t work the computer or anything like that. I’ve never wrote a letter in my life.
"I wouldn’t cope without Sandra. I’m useless. She treats me like a baby – she does everything for me."
He revealed recently that the loved-up couple do row – but their arguments have never lasted more than ten minutes.
