For many people, self care days are reserved for the weekend. So the next time you are setting aside time for yourself, be sure to have a bottle of Sundays handy. This nail salon and polish brand is making it loud and clear that wellness comes first, offering non-toxic polish that is safe for your nails.
CEO Amy Ling Lin’s journey with nail polish began in a salon. While making her way through the industry, she would often ask about products and find that they weren’t made with the safest ingredients. However, this finding is precisely what inspired the development of Sundays, the non-toxic nail polish that shoppers know and love.
Abiding by the 10-free rule, Sundays’ nail polish leaves out 10 common chemicals found in traditional nail polish used to make it last longer.
“I would ask everyone and be like ‘Why do you do this, why do you use this product,’” Lin says. “It gave me a lot of insight about a lot of toxic chemicals being used in the salon.”
As far as colors go, Sundays offers just over 50 timeless shades. The reason there aren’t more? Lin believes that’s all you need.
“I think maybe we need less than what we think and that having a timeless color is really creative,” Lin explains. “It fits every skin tone, and it really makes the client’s money worth it. It’s not like ‘okay next year this is not popular anymore.’”
Sundays is making wellness a top priority, so why don’t you? Take a look at some of the brand’s award-winning nail polish shades below to take your self care day to the next level.
