Anya Taylor-Joy takes the plunge in gold metallic gown while Thomasin McKenzie stuns in a sequined green dress at the Los Angeles premiere of their film Last Night in Soho

The Queen’s Gambit star Anya Taylor-Joy and Thomasin McKenzie brought the glamour in sparkly evening gowns to the Los Angeles premiere of their film Last Night in Soho on Sunday night. 

While arriving to the star-studded event, the 25-year-old Netflix star looked breathtakingly beautiful in a plunging  gold metallic dress, which showed off her sensational physique, with a dazzling emerald necklace. 

After strutting down the red carpet, she paused to take photos by looking over her shoulder and showing off the sexy back of her chic ensemble with a demure smile across her face.

Her glamorous makeup look included a smokey eyeshadow, a few layers of black mascara and rosy lipstick to match the sweeping of blush from her temples down to the center of her cheeks. 

Last Night In Soho is centered around an aspiring fashion designer who is mysteriously able to enter the 1960s where she encounters a dazzling wannabe singer but the glamour is not all it appears to be and the dreams of the past start to crack and splinter into something darker.

Meanwhile, McKenzie wore a green sequined halter gown with a daring cutout in the front and her luxurious brunette locks in a sleek updo. 

The actresses looked inseparable as they held hands and chatted, before mingling with director Edgar Wright.

The former Victoria’s Secret Angel’s beau, who made their relationship red carpet official last month, wore a navy suit, white button-down and loafers.

Naito, who wore a patterned dress with green accents, coordinated with her husband in an olive green bomber jacket, blue t-shirt and light-wash jeans. 

The Shibutani siblings, who are ice dancers, both wore black suits, while Lola Blanc (born Kandice Melonakos)  wore a beige latex jacket, matching biker shorts, a black crop top and matching thigh-high boots.

The official synopsis for Last Night In Soho reads: ‘Edgar Wright’s psychological thriller about a young girl, passionate in fashion design, who is mysteriously able to enter the 1960s where she encounters her idol, a dazzling wannabe singer.

‘But 1960s London is not what it appears, and time seems to fall apart with shady consequences…’

Edgar Wright is renowned for his 2017 film Baby Driver which became his top-grossing film to date.

Of the delays in release, Wright told IndieWire earlier this year: ‘Me and the producers were behind the push, and Universal and Focus were in agreement.

‘They feel as well that we want to at least give it the chance to be in theaters and see it as it was intended to be. Obviously people will be able to watch it at home eventually.
