Blake Shelton Covers Country Classics With ‘The Voice’ Contestants

Blake Shelton joined Team Blake contestants Ian Flanigan and Jim Ranger to cover country classics during the season 19 finale of “The Voice.”

Shelton performed the Buck Owens classic “Streets of Bakersfield” with Ranger on Tuesday night.

The coach and his prodigy Flanigan also performed Willie Nelson‘s “Mammas Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys.”

“Well, we may not have taken the NBC The Voice title this time around, but I feel like a winner having worked with some incredible artists this season! Jim Ranger and Ian Flanigan. y’all should be so proud of what y’all have done this season! It’s just the beginning! Watch out world,” Shelton later wrote on Twitter about his team members.

Other “Voice” coaches Gwen Stefani, Kelly Clarkson and John Legend also shared the stage with their team members on night two of the finale to sing a duet of their choice.

Carter Rubin from Team Gwen was crowned “The Voice” season 19 winner on Tuesday night.
