Charlotte Crosby has asked her fans for advice after revealing she felt “a little unsettled” when she realised her heart was beating faster than usual.

Taking to her Instagram stories, Charlotte, 30, recorded herself speaking directly to camera as she explained she had noticed the sensation while lying down, and wondered if anyone might have any tips on how she could stop it.

The former Geordie Shore star said: “So some serious help I need help with right now.”

She continued: “I’m just lying here, and my heart is not beating really fast, but it’s just beating a little bit faster than normal.”

Charlotte went on to explain that it felt as if she’d drunk a double espresso and that she would describe it as “a little bit of an elevated heart rate.”

She continued: “But I’m just lying here so I don’t really understand.”

Assuring fans that it was “nothing crazy mad” Charlotte then turned to her social media followers for advice.

She said: “this is probably a stupid question to ask – but I know that a lot of people sometimes get heart palpitations – does anyone have any tips or am I just being stupid?”

In between speaking, she took several deep breaths in a bid to calm herself down and concluded: “It doesn’t normally happen so it’s made me feel a little unsettled.”

“I just don’t really know it’s made me feel a bit uneasy, does this happen to anyone else?” she asked again.

Within minutes, Charlotte had been inundated with supportive messages, giving her tips and tricks on how to slow her heart rate and what could be behind it.

“Wow THANK YOU so much literally only been a few mins and had hundreds of replies!’” she wrote, attaching a video of her scrolling through her messages with helpful advice from fans.

On the next part of her Instagram story, Charlotte added that many had said it could be because of “a little anxiety or a caffeine induced HP” and that she was going to “carry on my deep breathing.”

And the reality star, who is set to appear in a celebrity version of hit show The Circle early next year, seemed to be feeling a lot better later in the evening.

She posted snaps from her bed as she and boyfriend Liam Beaumont watched television together.
