Don’t Be Tardy: Kim Zolciak goes crazy at ‘nut house’ after RV breaks down in ‘rough’ Midwest area

Kim Zolciak’s RV broke down in a ‘rough’ area of the Midwest and she later went crazy at a Route 66 ‘nut house’ on Tuesday’s episode of Don’t Be Tardy on Bravo.

Her husband Kroy Biermann, 35, had been struggling with the vehicle all night, as it had set off a barrage of flashing warning lights before its engine shut down.

It was the middle of the night and they were headed to Amarillo, Texas, but they took a detour into a ‘bad’ neighborhood just trying to find somewhere to hole up.

The area they ended up in was industrial, and looked abandoned, said Kroy, who subsequently pulled the RV into a parking lot.

‘I don’t wanna be staying here long,’ he admitted. ‘I really need to get hold of somebody right now to get us out of here.’

He called their RV rental company, which agreed to send someone to look at the vehicle.

‘I’ve never trusted the RV—let’s establish that,’ said Kim, 42. ‘I’ve just always felt some kind of way.’

At 3:02am, a man showed up to look at the Biermann’s engine and reasoned that there had to be a short somewhere.

‘It sounds like you’re having a PC misfire,’ he told Kroy. ‘It’s not fun. I’ll just tell you that right now.’

He called a mechanic who was more technically inclined as a waiting Kim asked Kroy, ‘Babe, can we just go and have sex instead?’

Sex instead: Kim asked her husband Kroy Biermann if they could have sex instead of dealing with the broken down RV

At 3:35, a technician named Tony showed up in a blinged-out sequined blazer, wearing two watches—a Michael Kors and a Rolex.

‘I don’t know if that’s to show him where he’s going and remind him where he came from,’ wondered Brielle Biermann, 23.

‘He’s the flyest mechanic I’ve ever seen,’ Kim insisted.

At 4:05 a.m., Kroy tried to start the engine and it was completely dead, after which Tony informed him they would have to spend the night there.

Brielle, her sister Ariana, 17, and members of the production team then pushed the RV to the side of the parking lot.

Kim prayed for their safety, pulled down the RV’s blinds, and slept.

Early the next day, technicians traced the RV’s problems to a loose wire, and repaired it.

‘I’ve never been so happy in my life,’ Kim said. ‘I feel like I just found an exotic Chanel bag.’

Kroy drove his family to a campground in Tulsa, Oklahoma, so they could shower and eat, then drove on toward Amarillo, via the famed Route 66.

In Catoosa, Oklahoma, they stopped to peer at a waterside structure shaped like a giant blue whale, and walked into its belly.

‘That’s not proper clothing for the whale,’ its owner Blaine admonished Kim, who was wearing stilettos and a tight outfit. ‘But y’all can look at it anyway.’

‘I never have the right clothes for anything,’ Kim told the cameras. ‘I love heels. Hello! I’m all about fashion first.’

She and her family journeyed down the road to buy blueberries at a gas station, then turned into ‘the nut house,’ a store that sold nuts, along with Kim’s beloved deli meats and cheeses.

The reality star spent 75 minutes and $389 at the store, and quipped, ‘If I can’t be in Neiman’s or Saks, the nut house will do.’

From there, it was on to Amarillo and the dude ranch that awaited.

When Kim learned that a dude ranch might involve riding horses—and not, she joked, picking out dudes—she was less than thrilled.

‘I’m not into horses, I’ve never been into horses,’ she told the cameras. ‘They just make me nervous. I know what they’re capable of.’

Don’t Be Tardy will return next week on Bravo.
