Danny Miller, who has played Aaron Dingle on Emmerdale since 2008, has told OK! In an exclusive chat he and fiancée Steph Jones have in fact picked a baby name.

The actor, 30, and his midwife partner Steph had desperately tried to conceive for a year and so they were delighted when they found out they were going to be parents back in February.

On the topic of baby names, Danny told us they've now "narrowed it down to one girl and one boy name.",

He added: "We’re keeping them to ourselves but our families are trying to get them out of us!"

The excited parents-to-be also opened up on labour plans, with Danny admitting he's not the most "solid-stomached person."

Danny said: "I get quite nauseous in those situations, but I’m hoping the adrenaline takes over and makes me get a hold of myself and realise what I’m there for.

"Hopefully I’ll concentrate on Steph rather than worry about what’s going on around me. The hypnobirthing sessions really helped in terms of learning what will happen and when and how to be there as a support system."

Steph added: "I think he’ll be really good as he’s been so supportive so far. He really looks after me.

"He helps me get comfy in the night, massages my back and puts my pillow in different positions. He also keeps making me smoothies with iron to keep my iron levels up. And I’ve had a craving for Calippos. We both want Calippos all the time. We have boxes and boxes of them!"

On whether he'll cry at the birth, Danny admitted: "I think I will be alright up until the moment I hear them cry and I know they’re alright. It will be more of a release if anything that we’ve finally done it and they’re there with us and hopefully healthy and safe."

Steph added: "If I think about the birth I get tearful as we’re just so excited. To find out the sex will be so exciting. Hopefully the baby will be born and Danny will see the sex and be the one to tell me."

The couple, who have been together for two years but first met in primary school, exclusively announced their pregnancy and engagement with OK! in May.

Danny took to Twitter to say he was “overwhelmed” at everyone’s reaction to their special news.
