Emmerdale star Zoe Henry, 47, is best known for her role as Rhona Goskirk in the Dales. The soap star recently took to social media and offered her well-wishes to her colleague who worked behind the scenes after they announced their departure.

Zoe shared a sweet message on the micro-blogging site as her former colleague, who worked as a show social media producer, admitted they had a “blast” working for ITV.

In view of her 102,000 followers, the Emmerdale star reacted to her former colleague who has taken on a new role with the BBC last month.

The person in question, Max Nicholl, penned a touching leaving message on the micro-blogging site.

He wrote: “After over five incredible years, today was my last day at Emmerdale. I’ve loved every minute of my time at ITV working with a group of amazing people. It’s been a blast!

“Next stop, I’m super excited to be joining the team at BBC Radio 1!”

Zoe replied: “Good luck Max.”

Meanwhile, the Emmerdale star who works alongside her husband Jeff (who played Cain Dingle) shared some exciting news regarding the couple’s allotment.

The small-screen star regularly updates fans with tips and tricks to grow fruit and vegetables.

Zoe has since unveiled their new poly tunnel which can be used to extend your growing season and increase the variety of crops that you can grow.

The ITV favourite filmed the couple’s new prized possession which caught the attention of her fans.

Zoe wrote: “Revamp! New skin on the poly tunnel (by experts, not by us!) and a shingle path down. It’s beginning to a lot like Springtime…@HordleyJeff.”

Fans flocked to comment on the post, as people gushed over their latest purchase.

One person wrote: “That looks amazing. Is that your garden or still on your allotment. You can tell blood, sweat and tears have been spent on that to make it look fab. Well done to you both.”

Zoe confirmed: “This is our allotment.”

Another person commented: “Maybe I’m getting old, but this has got me REALLY excited!”

“You’re welcome!” the Emmerdale actress quipped.

While a third person added: “We got a second poly tunnel a few weeks back, seeds already starting to come through!”

Zoe has previously spoken about the family’s love of fresh, healthy produce.

She told Fabulous last year: “We have an allotment and it’s so therapeutic to have your hands in the earth.

“We’re mindful of what we eat, but watching our diet isn’t about being on TV, it’s more about general well-being, as Jeff has Crohn’s disease.”
